AFI 38-401, Air Force Innovative Development Employee Awareness (IDEA) Program, Interim Change 97-1

SCALE FOR INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT (IDEA) PROGRAM

The parties agree to the following concerning the new IDEA Program awards scale effective 1 Oct 97:

1. The award scale applies to ideas received 1 Oct 97 or later in the Manpower/Quality office or via the automated system, when applicable.

2. All suggestions received prior to 1 Oct 97 will be awarded using the current scale in AFI 38-401, The Air Force Suggestion Program, 7 Feb 94.

3. The parties acknowledge that the total award may not exceed $10,000 except as provided by 5 USC 4502 (b).

4. This agreement satisfies the bargaining obligation associated with the new award scale and Interim change 97-1 to AFI 38-401.
